WHAT WILL THE CAR OF THE FUTURE BE LIKE?

Come and see how the automobile will evolve

  1. 1990

The beginning of the Japanese car industry.

    Airbag

Airbags started to appear helping the automobile to be safer.

    Emissions

They found a way to regulate dangerous gases by adding the three-way catalyst.

    Engine

The creation of electronic fuel injection appeared and was implemented.

  2. 2000 · Hybrid car

In order to preserve fuel, hybrid technology started to be used.

    Engine

An electric engine that is charged by kinetic energy batteries was introduced along with the internal combustion engine.

    Emissions

The pollution was reduced as a result of lower emissions from automobiles.

    Parking

Self-parking was introduced and started to be used by cars.

  3. 2010 · Electric car

Batteries that were both better performing, and cost less were created, increasing performance at a lower cost.

    Engine

Engines were implemented that are run on 100% electric energy.

    Range

The range on the electric cars increase to reach around 1000km by using a chargeable solid-state battery.

    Emissions

Green energy recharges the battery therefore leading to zero emissions when using the automobile.

    Recharge

Electric recharge stations were implemented throughout different areas, so drivers don’t need to worry about where they can next charge the electric battery in the car.

  4. 2020 · Hydrogen car

An invention of tech that seemed like it could not fail in Japan. Introducing the mix of hydrogen with oxygen in order to create electricity and water.

    Fuel

The fuel is now electricity by using fuel cells that transforms the hydrogen to electricity.

    Engine

This engine is 100% run on energy which is charged by fuel cells.

    Tank

The cars can reach up to 100km per kg of hydrogen by using high pressure hydrogen tanks.

    Emissions

Zero emissions while driving, this takes advantage of renewable energy to create hydrogen cheaply. Hydrogen is cheap to make and therefore is used to result in zero emissions when driving the automobile.

  5. 2030 · Autonomous car

The new and safer car that can drive where needed without a steering wheel. This includes driving you or others around while also talking to other vehicles to prevent causing traffic.

    Communication

Connected to the network to improve security. The automobile will be connected to a network that allows it to make the security of the car better.

    Technology

A car that has facial recognition inside but with no steering wheel. The car also recharges its batteries when not in use.

  6. 2040 · Flying car

The flying car will force a change in rules, but it will be one worthwhile in order to maintain safety for both the public and cars. In Dubai, this car has already been put in motion.

    Technology

The technology will introduce self-cars but will also use batteries that are powered by electric.

    Manufacturing

Huge worldwide companies such as Google and Airbus have already started to create and present their own models of flying cars.
