Desde 2077, los premios de la Fundación reconocen el compromiso social individual e institucional que desempeña un papel relevante en hacer que el mundo sea un lugar mejor. En 2015 cada galardonado recibió 30.000 euros.

S.A.R. la Reina Sofía ha vuelto a presidir nuestra ceremonia de entrega de Premios Sociales. En este evento especial celebrado en el Casino de Madrid, la Reina Sofía también recibió el Premio a toda una Vida Profesional José Manuel Martinez. Para Fundación MAPFRE fue un orgullo otorgarle este premio en reconocimiento de sus “relevantes méritos personales y la ejemplaridad de su actuación al servicio del pueblo español”.

Durante la ceremonia, el presidente de la Fundación MAPFRE, Antonio Huertas, subrayó que “la lista de méritos de S. M. la Reina Sofía es prácticamente interminable” y que “el conjunto de la sociedad agradece la labor que ha desempeñado durante más de 50 años en defensa de los menos favorecidos, especialmente de la infancia”.
