Award for the Best Initiative in the Agricultural and Livestock Sector

Presented every two years and global in scope, the Award for the Best Initiative in the Agricultural and Livestock Sector arises from our desire to recognize initiatives in the agricultural and livestock sector that stand out for being innovative and transformational.

The United States is noteworthy for the robustness of its farming and livestock sector.  The corn and soy crops of Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska; the vibrant farmland of Kansas, North Dakota, Montana and Washington; and the large tracts of land devoted to cattle in Texas are clear indications of the good health of the agricultural and livestock sector in the United States.

Within this context are producers, both ones engaged in individual ventures and cooperatives and associations, that have implemented innovative and sustainable processes that contribute to improving the employability and economy of the place where they are carried out. These are the kind of projects we want to support with this prize.

Nominations are now being accepted. In this 2026 call, the prize is 40,000 euros. The deadline for submitting nominations is May 25, 2026, and you can submit here. You can find all details in the Terms and Conditions.
