Fundación Mapfre Social Innovation Awards

Here are the winners of the 7th edition (these innovative projects combine talent, creativity, and technology to solve the most urgent social problems) of each category:

• Safe and Sustainable Mobility: EVIX (Spain), a neck restraint device integrated into the cycling helmet that uses hashtag#AI to activate an airbag in the event of anticipating an accident. Received by Marc Millet Solanellas.
• Silver Economy: CUIDADOR DE CONFIANÇA (Brazil), AI-based apps for individualized senior health plans. Received by João Paulo Nogueira Ribeiro.
• Health Improvement and Digital Technology (e-Health): change: WATER Labs (USA), the iThrone toilet for safe, low-cost sanitation. Received by Diana Yousef-Martinek.

The event was also attended by Andrés Allamand Zavala and Diego del Alcázar Benjumea.
